The 2012 Election

Obama appears to have been more popular in Europe than in America. Many Americans appear to have a genuine love for the man rather than his policies. It appears Obama had the support of Women as 55% of women voted for him, aswell as also winning the Hispanic vote ' the president made the biggest gains in Colorado, taking 74 percent of the Hispanic vote'.http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/11/07/us/politics/obamas-diverse-base-of-support.html. It appears that those voting for Romney were predominately white, older and male. This was the type of person who once dominated the elections however it appears that this 'type' is now being outvoted by young people, Hispanic people and women who appear to more republican.
